My Name is Emily Miller. I own the herd with my husband Ray. We are located in a very rural small town in Northwestern PA, situated near the Great Lakes. This means we get a lot of lake effect snow!!! We also have beautiful warm summers! Our farm is named because of the breathtaking sunrises and sunsets we have on the farm!!! We live on a dirt road at the top of a hill with breath taking, unobstructed views of beautiful sunsets. We are not far from Titusville, PA where oil was first struck in 1859.

My herd was started when I was 8 years old as 4-H project that turned into a lifelong passion. That passion for breeding beautiful, correct goats and genetics came from my grandfather. In the early 1980s he bred a large herd of Registered Holsteins. They weren't your average dairy cows. He exported semen, did IVF, and even sold a Holstein for $25,000 before I was born!!!

In 2005 I met the love of my life, Ray. He had never been around dairy goats, but he quickly adapted to them as they were my life!! We both grew up on dairy cow farms, so it was an easy transition for him. In June 2006 we were married, and the rest is history!!! His love for our herd is very evident. I couldn't have the herd I do without him!! He is my main chore helper and barn cleaner!! We try to attend 6-8 shows a year and Nationals when it is fairly close.
